In this early access stage, you can play with even more friends thanks to complete crossplay support across PC and Xbox platforms.
After discussing the news of Anacrusis’ future release on Steam Early Access and Xbox Game Preview on Game Freaks 365 last month, Stary Bombay has announced its launch today.
The Anacrusis is a four-player co-op first-person shooter with gameplay that borrows heavily from Left 4 Dead. The game is set onboard a huge spacecraft stranded on the edge of explored space, for those who aren’t acquainted with it. In an eternally replayable battle against alien hordes, join up with your buddies to obtain perks, weaponry, and new ways to play that you can share with your friends.
A launch to get a lot of feedback from the community
Through the first three episodes of the game’s plot, this Early Access and Game Preview release serves as Season Zero for The Anacrusis, introducing players to the first four survivors of the alien onslaught. The Isolode, a large, luxury spacecraft abandoned on the edge of known space and plagued by frightening aliens with a far-out fashion sense, is explored in this first act by four-player teams.
Furthermore, the Stary Bombay team intends to begin your adventure through early access with bi-monthly updates that include quality of life upgrades, weekly challenges, bug patches, and other modifications depending on community input. Before The Anacrusis departs the early access/preview phase of the game in the second half of 2022, more episodes, weaponry, and weekly challenges will be introduced.
The Anacrusis is currently available for a 20% launch discount on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam Early Access. It’s included for free with Xbox Game Pass.
