The Falconeer: Warrior Edition coming soon to PS4, PS5, and Switch

The Falconeer: Warrior Edition

The Falconeer from Tomas Salas will no longer be exclusive to Xbox and PC. Wired Productions releases it on PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch on August 5, 2021.

Tomas Sala’s notable game, The Falconeer, was released in November exclusively for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows 10 (Steam and GOG). His idea for a “flight game” reminded us of Panzer Dragoon‘s best days, with high difficulty and a witty artistic design as the main selling points. The game is now available on other platforms.

The Falconeer: Warrior Edition is an improved version of the original Xbox and PC game, with more content and new features. Plus, it’ll also be available in physical form in the United States. The announcement of these versions for Sony and Nintendo’s consoles was made by the Wired Productions Twitter account.

Warrior Edition

“Soar through the skies aboard a majestic warbird. Explore a stunning oceanic world and engage in epic aerial dogfights, in this BAFTA-nominated air combat game from solo developer, Tomas Sala. Take on the role of Falconeer and embark on a journey of discovery to solve the mystery of the Ursee, its people, and history” the official description of the game says.

The Warrior Edition has everything from the original The Falconeer, as well as both DLC and free material from patches. The series will also feature the new expansion Edge of the World, whose release date coincides with the release of the PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch versions.

Wired Productions has not defined the resolution or output of The Falconeer on the Nintendo Switch or PS4, but it will be available on the PlayStation 5. On Sony’s next-generation console, Tomas Sala’s game will run at 4K and 60 frames per second, and it will also be compatible with the haptic features of the DualSense controller, providing a special and incomparable experience.

The Falconeer: Warrior Edition will be available digitally through the PlayStation Store and Nintendo eShop. There is also a physical edition for all three platforms. The PlayStation version will cost $29.99, while the physical version for the Nintendo Switch will cost $34.99.
