After what Nintendo and The Pokémon Company have shown in recent months, the hype for the new generation of Pokémon is present. Applying what was shown in Pokémon Legends: Arceus in a new generation with the “classic” Pokémon system is undoubtedly a success. Therefore, more and more players are joining the hype train for Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet.
Surprisingly, The Pokémon Company Twitter account today announced that there is a new Pokémon Presents planned for this week. They said that the presentation is full of updates on Pokémon games and apps. In addition, more information about the new generation of games is going to be shared.
A surprise Pokémon Presents
With the release of Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet just a few months away, it is rare to receive a Pokémon Presents. If we gather the information from the different developers of all Pokémon games and apps, this Presents can be justified. Possibly, we will see in this new presentation, all the latest Pokémon games, and apps. In addition, there are rumors of a possible new Pokémon game or app, but there is no more information about it.
We also know that The Pokémon Company will show a little more about Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet. Possibly we will know more information about the gyms, more Pokémon with special forms for the new region, and more.
A possible announcement of the new remakes
If we follow the line of remakes that The Pokémon Company has been doing, a new remake should arrive next year. Even though we will be getting a new generation of Pokémon this year, the next big Pokémon release is likely to be a long-awaited remake.
Generation V has been one of those generations that failed to capture so many Pokémon fans. All of this is because Gen V came at a bad time; it arrived late in the life of the Nintendo DS. But, of all the Pokémon games released for this console, Pokémon White and Pokémon Black are incredible.
An incredible story, a generation of very useful Pokémon for competitive play, a region with incredible cities, and amazing graphics make this generation one of the most requested for future remakes. If we follow the history of remake releases of past generations, the V generation is the next one.
For this reason, there have been strong rumors that a possible remake of this generation may get announced this year. This surprise Pokémon Presents has made the rumors of this possible announcement make more sense. Although, again, it should be noted that these are just rumors and speculation.
