This weekend is not to be missed if you enjoy strategy games. Both XCOM 2 and XCOM 2: War of the Chosen are free to play on Steam starting February 10, according to 2K.
If you are unfamiliar with the XCOM franchise, it is considered one of the best strategy games ever made. In XCOM 2, aliens now dominate the Earth, erecting gleaming cities that appear to offer humanity a bright future on the surface while concealing a nefarious goal and murdering those who oppose their new authority.
Instead, in XCOM 2: War of the Chosen, players will have access to all new material in the war against Advent, as new resistance organizations emerge to combat the alien invasion. New hero classes to combat the “Chosen,” new opponents, objectives, and settings, and more strategic gameplay complexity are all included in XCOM 2: War of the Chosen.
XCOM 2 and XCOM 2: War of the Chosen are free on Steam from February 10 through February 14.
