The Gears 5: Hivebusters expansion is out today. Achievement hunters will be happy to know that they can boost their Gamerscore with a set of new achievements.
Hivebusters is set on the volcanic Galangi Islands. The expansion has you play as Lahni, Keegan, and Mac from Escape Mode. Known as the Scorpio Squad, the trio go on a mission to destroy a hive in this three-hour-long campaign.
Gears 5 recently received enhancements on Xbox Series X. The optimized title now supports the next-gen console’s Quick Resume feature, variable refresh rates, and 120 FPS in versus. Plus, the game runs at 4K resolution.
As for Hivebusters, it’s included with Xbox Game Pass. So you don’t have to buy the expansion if you’re already subscribed to Game Pass.
