Nintendo has confirmed the release date for Mario Kart Tour on Android and iOS.
The free-to-play mobile game will launch on September 25. The game has been in closed beta in select countries for Android. The game reportedly has a lot of microtransactions for things like unlocking characters.
Mario Kart Tour will be the third Mario-themed mobile game from Nintendo. The company has also released Super Mario Run and Dr. Mario World, which launched in July.

Dr. Mario World has received mixed reviews, although I personally liked it. Nintendo has already added a new world, twenty new stages, and three new doctors to their mobile-only puzzle game.
As for Mario Kart Tour, so far all we have are fan-made videos of the beta. It’ll at least give you a sense of what to expect when the game comes out next month.
