Screenshot of the Week: Skyrim

It’s a running joke now that Bethesda will port the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim to every platform until the end of days. But if you go back and play it now – ten years after its launch – it’s still an excellent game.

It’s even better now that you can play it in dynamic 4K on Xbox Series X and native 4K resolution on PlayStation 5. It’s a massive upgrade from the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 days, showing off the game’s Alps-like mountain ranges and valleys.

As you can see in this week’s Screenshot of the Week, Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim looks amazing on next-gen consoles. The land of Skyrim has never looked more beautiful (except maybe on PC). The PC version even allows you to play co-op thanks to a new mod.

I don’t know about you, but I’ll probably never stop playing Skyrim even if I will stop buying new versions of it that Bethesda keeps pumping out like the $70 version on Nintendo Switch.
