Ubisoft Connect is replacing Uplay and Ubisoft Club

Ubisoft Connect

Ubisoft is phasing out Uplay and Ubisoft Club, replacing them with a single, unified service that also supports crossplay and cross-progression. It’s called Ubisoft Connect.

“Ubisoft Connect is the ecosystem of players services for Ubisoft games across all platforms,” the company says. “It aims at giving the best environment for all players to enjoy their games and connect with each other whatever the device.”

Ubisoft Connect will function as a reward system for playing purchased games in a similar to Ubisoft Club. According to Ubisoft, your accumulated Ubisoft Club points carry over, too, so you don’t have to worry about losing them. There are no limits on the XP that you can earn.

In addition to PC and web, you’ll also be able to download and access your Ubisoft Connect account on your smartphone via Android and iOS apps. The new platform launches globally on October 29, the same day as Watch Dogs Legion.
