Nowadays, it’s hard to imagine a new RPG that has no combat at all. Despite this, Rolldbox Games found the perfect formula with Those Who Came.
In the past, specifically in the month of August, we talked about the presentation of Rolldbox’s game at Gamescom 2021. Two months later, the Barcelona-based studio has announced that Those Who Came, its non-combat based RPG, is now available on PC via Steam Early Access.
Concentrate on the adventure
Certain parts of Those Who Came are only found here. While its rivals just combine party-based gameplay with combat or puzzle-based gameplay with a cartoon aesthetic, the game goes above and above by combining non-combat RPG and party gameplay with a stylized atmosphere. Just what we needed to have a good time with our buddies.
Despite the fact that Those Who Came is the debut title from the Spanish company, the game succeeds with an amazing blend of riddles and environmental threats that players must avoid, necessitating lateral thinking, communication, and (most importantly) collaboration.
By creating a pleasant and mindful atmosphere, this title avoids the irritation that many other gameplays leave. Positive gaming is the core objective. Each party will undoubtedly leave participants with a sense of accomplishment and collaboration.
